Kingston Yard is, at its core, a place to gather and enjoy. We welcome visitors to the west bank of the Cedar River, just as the namesake-settler, David King, did with his ferry crossing 175 years ago.
We’ve got a little something for everyone: from the Pickle Palace to loft apartments, from Big Grove beer garden to a boutique hotel - and all of it is situated around a wide-open green space featuring the ImOn Stage.
Movies, bands, and other events will take place throughout the year. We hope you’ll join us to experience all the west side of Cedar Rapids has to offer!
Rules of The Yard
Please help keep The Yard clean:
- Use the available trash and recycling cans
- Leash and clean up after your pets using the available dog waste stations
- Supervise children - no climbing on the stage and use the playground responsibly
Not Allowed:
- Smoking or vaping
- Outside food or drink - you may purchase to-go drinks from Kingston Yard businesses
- Skateboards, rollerblades, or motorized vehicles
- Loitering, solicitation, outside vendors, or overnight use
The park is monitored at all times.
Public restrooms are located inside the 151 Lofts.
